Walmart.com Photo Center
Walmart.com is the online presence for Wal-Mart Stores Inc., the world's number one retailer with over $218 billion in sales last year. Walmart.com has more than 100 million views per month. According to Neilsen/NetRatings, the Walmart.com Photo Center is a Top 10 photo sharing site.
My role: Design, production and specification documents.
Led the 3 person team to bring the Photo Center into the Walmart.com brand look and feel. The redesign drove a 400% sales growth over the previous year with an 85% year over year traffic growth. Customer service calls decreased while sales and traffic increased.
As the design lead for Photo Center, my daily work consisted of ongoing creation and modifications to the site with a focus on driving down customer service calls. I also led the art direction of photo shoots and collaborated in Photo Center business strategy.
